You may be interested to know that there are accepted sub-units and super-units of bitcoins.

Sub-units of Bitcoin

mBTC represents one-thousandth of a bitcoin (0.001) and is called a milli-bitcoin or millie/millibit for short
μBTC represents one-millionth of a bitcoin (0.000001) and is a micro-bitcoin, also known as a bit
sat represents one-hundered-millionth of a bitcoin (0.00000001) and is known as a satoshi after the bitcoin’s creator.
